In ten years? God I hope so, but I doubt it. Maybe in 20+ years
Why the fuck is time doing this
That's such a niche reference lmao
Tbh the vibration motor in modern smart phones has been an absolute game changer, the sound doesn't really matter as long as it's a softer sound that still is an alarm. But even semi decent vibration motors in phones are leaps and bounds better than the best of early android phones, it's like someone is tapping me through the mattress, I wake right up.
Nobody is doing anything fast enough. Regimes fall but this is my biggest fear of a trump presidency because this damage may not be permanent but it will do the most damage in my lifetime.
This title is something that doesn't make sense said in a way that makes it look logical. If they can't manage their fees those fees shouldn't exist. But that's not really why this requirement it's going away, it's because they were bribed.
A goal at the end of tasks that I actually want and isn't just made up? No that'll make me get this done faster than what should logically be possible
Man she really didn't realize he was like this huh? She was just here for racism not the fascism, what a fool
My concern is that some of these "additives" could just be harmless preservatives, dyes, or even lab synthesized ingredients that are usually naturally occuring through some non industrial method, but they add them a different way because it's cheaper at scale.
Not saying it's the same but it gives me similar pause and concern as the the "natural dyes" initiative by RFK. The natural dyes are literally just the same chemicals just gotten from "natural" means rather than synthesized in a lab.
Another example is the fear mongering against high fructose corn syrup in the 00's when it's literally broken down into the same thing as sugar in your body before it's used. The only difference between it and sugar, even down to flavor, is that it was created in a lab from corn because it was cheaper because of government subsidies.
Unless it's directly harmful to you like alcohol, the term "healthy" when relating to food is very poorly defined, and is for the most part exploited by companies to make you feel bad about what you're currently eating, and to sell you their food at a markup because it's "healthy"
What's healthy for is having a good idea of the levels of essential nutrients you intake, your caloric intake, and making sure you eat everything in moderation.
I'm always for the integrity of journalism because the lack thereof is part of the reason we're where we are today. A more accurate but eaqually as cautionary of a headline would be "Whooping cough cases on the rise in Florida as vaccine skepticism is legally supported by the states lawmakers" or something like that
The US's democracy has been systematically and continuously eroded for decades, from defunding of the arts/education, defunding of social services, citizens united, consolidation of all media outlets under a few wealthy individuals that shape the US narrative. The people are misinformed, and even so a large majority of those who aren't are impoverished and barely surviving. Election day isn't a holiday meaning some of them can't afford to take time off to vote. And that's ignoring the gerrymandering and voter suppression that's been rampant for decades now too, swaying local and statewide elections. Most people don't want this, but everything is working against us, most of us don't want this and didn't vote for him or his chronies. And for the people in the comments saying "that's not how a democracy works" CORRECT ours has been dying since the 80's at the least, and it's not like America was this shining rod of democracy before that either. It's not the citizens doing this, they don't have any say in this type of thing, it's those who have forced, bribed, and conned their way into power doing everything.
As an American I genuinely fear for the upcoming primaries because in no way do I trust that the results will be legitimate, and even if they are I feel as though they'll be fucking ignored.
