Something isn't 'right' just because we've been doing it for a long time. We have the knowledge and tools now to improve ourselves.

Right? Slavery was common for a very long time. People used to just dump shit in the water in early cities and cause cholera outbreaks. Lots of old practices are no longer done for good reason
