is that what you get from this astonishingly obvious picture of how culture treats masc and fem people differently?
wow, more idiots on this site than i thought.
A window-breaker with a seatbelt-cutter implies women are extremely concerned with driving into bodies of water. Is this really a problem most of us face on a regular basis?
Want to connect the dots for me how this is men's fault?
Or, you know, maybe women spend so much time and energy thinking about what could go wrong that it's a distortion of reality?
The window breaker doesnt suggest that to me. It suggests being scared of being driven somewhere against their will.
Is that really your take away? Its not about driving into water... The seatbelt cutter is not the point, the window breaker is. The fear is of being trapped inside an uber or similar - window and child locks engaged and being kidnapped or held against your will.
All of the other items are about protecting yourself from people who may wish you harm, why would the window breaker be any different?
Not sure if you are just trolling or you smoke too much of the manosphere shit but in any case, you might want to turn off the internet and go out to touch some grass and maybe talk to a sane person.
You're talking to a dude that's very likely DMing 40 different women he's never met complaining about how they never go for the nice guys.
I know one of those, and another one that's becoming one. It's very funny to see them saying stuff like (and this is a quote) "I know what they (women) want, they just won't listen to me, as if they knew better". Then they wonder how approaching their 40s they are still alone and have been ghosted several times.
Gross. You'd think they'd get it after being left on read after they send "hey beautiful" to the Nth stranger on the internet, but people like that are just incapable of maturing.
I mean, this guy shared with us (when I was still part of that group, that I left for obvious reasons) some screencaps of his chat with a woman that would have been hilarious in a sitcom:
The guy insisted on asking her out for a coffee several times. Last time, she replied with a simple "yeah, we'll see".
He took that as a confirmation for a date (that never happened because she didn't come) and, angry because she "betrayed him", he sent her 2 voice messages (each one 3 minutes long) explaining how she betrayed him, and how bad she was because he took that time for her and yada yada.
She ghosted him of course. And he's still saying he was right and she was just a bitch.
Okay dude, you just keep going that way, no wonder why women don't want to touch you even with a 6 meter pole...
Why would I need to DM 40 different women to complain about how they never go for nice guys?
Is this an attempt at an insult?
It is, and I'm not gonna discuss it.
Well, at least an attempt was made.
Window breakers are useful in any situation where the doors and windows are disabled; crashes, rollovers, fires, floods, Tesla being fucky.
Seatbelt cutters are not usually needed in water situations, but are good in crashes where seatbelts are jammed. The style shown doesn't work on modern cars with laminated windows, one like this is better: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DPS54FYL
I don't think that item fits the message the meme is trying to express. Everyone should have a window breaker.
I can smell the fedora.
That's not the fedora 🤢
Be sure not cut yourself on your razor-sharp wit.
Did they hone that while they were studying the blade?

Pointing out that they enjoy making other people's day shittier is also important, more for others than for them, i doubt the guy above cares.
Haven't seen an r/whoooosh here on Lemmy yet.
r/whooooosh
Yes, I obviously don't get what the creator of the meme was trying to say.
The irony.
