Fuck off, you just want to argue semantics so you feel better. An invasion of power structures is an invasion, you're trying to make some essentialist argument that Americans have some inherent, essentialist component that makes them vote for fascists or something, which is far worse than arguing if the term "invasion" is appropriate.
