Happy World Photography Day everyone!!

No hiking today, just a short walk from my campsite to the harbor for a sunrise on Lake Superior, followed by a boat ride back to the mainland with a couple small storm passes. Overall a great adventure and a unique National Park experience!

The rocky shoreline of Rock Harbor at sunrise, with some waterfowl swimming in Lake Superior.

A storm front comes through over Lake Superior. Saw some good lightning from the rear of the boat once we had pushed through.

Two rocky islands just off the shore from Isle Royale. Taken from the ferry ride back to Grand Portage.
