Ive been reading consumer nz and they have so much good shit but its locked behind an insane $15 a month paywall. What a waste of a great resource

I pay them. It's worth is in my opinion. Somebody has to pay their salaries and they are the only group that routinely sticks up for consumers.

Ugh I want to but its to much. I hardly even buy enough things to justify it. I think they should do a pay what you can model with a min price of $5.

It would be better if it cost less but I guess it's a chicken and egg problem. If more people joined they could probably lower the price a bit. If they drop it to $5 and not get three times as many subscribers they will be losing revenue.

There's a lot of services like that, that are totally out of touch with what customers are willing to pay.

Strava want almost a hundred dollars per year, for example. Ludicrous.

If I'm making a purchase in the hundreds of dollars I buy a month and see what the top 3-4 things are. Worth it to make sure you're getting quality imo and the stuff I've bought on their recommendation has been well worth
