I have a meeting this morning that is pretty much doomed from the outset, but I still need to go through the motions.

After that, I acquired an unexpected gazebo yesterday, so I would like to get that up this evening to make the most of the next couple couple of weeks, since we are seemingly due for sunny weather.

And then I have a day booked off on Friday just because. Maybe I will spend it in the gazebo, reading.

I'd hope to finish Adrian Tchaikovsky's Children of Time if that's what I decide on. I'm about half way though now and won't have a lot of time to read more before then.

I just DNF'd that, but I think it was because I was listening to the audiobook; it's to be read rather than listened to I reckon

I can see that. I think that the worldbuilding of the Spider society benefits from a bit of thought at your own speed, rather than being propelled through at narration speed.

I was hooked on Children of Time, didn't finish Children of Ruin. Haven't tried the third yet.
