4) NSFW is okay, within reason
Just remember to tag posts with either a content warning or a [NSFW] tag. Overtly sexual posts are not allowed, please direct them to either !asklemmyafterdark@lemmy.world or !asklemmynsfw@lemmynsfw.com.
NSFW comments should be restricted to posts tagged [NSFW].
5) This is not a support community.
It is not a place for 'how do I?', type questions.

I was talking with a guy at work the other day about this. Apparently he and I are both guilty of trying to exit insert mode and run vim commands in windows notepad.
I can't even count the amount of times I've sent some variation of "Yeah, so I think we should reboot the server:wq" into irc
Funny you should mention IRC as that's how I met that coworker in the first place. I miss the good old days of IRC. Freenode was a blast back in the day.
IRC is still around! I run my own server and everything. It's still a blast :)
