Six years ago the entire Linux enthusiast space was super excited for the PinePhone, then everything fell apart. What went wrong? Was PINE64's favoritism towards Manjaro the sole issue or were there other problems?

For me it was the slow hardware combined with the lack of support. I thought we would at least get finished drivers with the device. But stuff was slow and broken. They relied on the community too much to get the hardware working.
