Gibson is going for an operation tomorrow where sheβll be under anaesthetic and tbh Iβm pretty worried.
Itβs got to be done but yeah, fluffball is a real important part of my life and yeah. Itβs stressful.
We're here for you β€οΈ
I' sending positive vibes her way. Stay strong :)
Miss Meow bounced back from her general anaesthetic extremely quickly. She was back to normal the next day, much more resilient than Mr Woof who needed drugs and a cone on his head for a week.
Its tough. And wait until she protests about the lack of breakfast! Sending you both furry good wishes for a seamless experience.
Good on you for taking such good care of her!
sending so many healing thoughts πππ
Hope it goes well. Poor kitty.
Good luck hope she recovers well!

Melbcat had a general anaesthetic for a tooth extraction at 14yo and pulled up okay. Tomorrow is never promised but I hope thatβs some reassurance.
Good luck to Gibson.
Edit: If itβs a tooth extraction I was told to give mine chunks of cooked meat afterwards instead of soft wet food that could get into the stitches.
If itβs a late spaying or something that leaves a wound she can potentially reach, remember that a baby shirt or onesie is an option to protect the site instead of or in addition to the cone. Tricksy little hobbits.
Good luck Gibson!
