Again you miss the point. So you "said something" about Palestinians? All I can see you saying about the issue is shaming people for still talking about it even though it's still an ongoing issue. You're claiming that people who talk about it still just have a superiority complex and are somehow at fault for everything trump does, even though the democratic party, who has far more power than any of us, were happy to continue supporting genocide even if it meant losing votes.
Let me state that again: the democratic party, your supposed champions holding back fascism, were happy to ignore voters protesting genocide because they thought sending billions in weapons in support of genocide is more important than their votes. Now you're telling me that these very same champions give a shit about any of your friends and family? It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic. The democratic party is the "good cop" in the good cop/bad cop fascism routine. Both cops work for the same organization and have the same goal.
My dude, you keep saying things I did not say.
I'm not shaming people for talking about the genocide. I'm not saying don't talk about the issue. I encourage you to keep talking about it.
I never said that the DNC wasn't responsible. They 100% hold blame. They should never have skipped the primaries.
I'm solely talking about the election. An election where we had 2 objectively bad choices. And even then 1 choice was miles better. Still fundamentally flawed. Still honestly pretty terrible. And yet still the best choice to reduce harm. I'm talking about how in that moment there were people given the choice to save some lives or ensure many many more are lost and they tricked themselves into believing the only moral choice was to ensure that as many died as possible. So here we are.
I fundamentally disagree with the DNC. And yet I know for a fact that it wouldn't be like it is today. I know that the heritage foundation wouldn't have been given the keys to the country. It is possible to swallow your pride and choose to save others. I'm sorry that you are incapable of that. Hell I'm sorry that we have to do that. I wish I could change things, but right now it's all so fucked up that all I can do is make a choice to save as many lives as possible. And please don't give me the "start an armed revolution" bullshit. Neither you or I will be starting an armed revolution, but I'll admit there is seemingly less options.
Also the "BoTh sIdES ArE LiTtERLy tHe SAmE" argument is just lazy as hell. We can have a nuanced conversation about how they all act to protect corporate wealth and the elite, but there are some very large differences that actually affect peoples lives pretty drastically. The only way you can't find a difference is if you live a privileged life sheltered from the effects of every Republican administration.
