From what I remember of a game I never played, she’s 100% robot, 0% organic. Why’s she human shaped and wearing hot goth clothes normally? Is it explained at all?
It's because yoko taro is a horny freak with no shame.

IIRC they were made to look like humans so that later human souls can take over those bodies, to avoid a total human extinction due to some virus. But the clothes? Uhhh idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯spoiler
Everyone knows human souls are most drawn to hot bodies in hot clothes.Yeah, it's explained, but like all media it's more of an excuse. It's a good game though. You should check it out.
