Had to walk a friend through desyncing OneDrive and uninstalling it last night because word files weren't being saved locally. Shit is literally just malware.
at least ransomware is upfront about its intentions?
My biggest pet peeve is it will randomly link to that and then start Auto-saving shit. You can start with regular saving and then you go and modify some document to use as a template and it saves over the original document itself. Infuriating.
And forget about ever updating your PC again because that shit will weasel it's way back into your system
Ive had no issues keeping one drive dead. The only thing I had any real issue with was phone link which despite being uninstalled and had no use, was consistently having 40+ processes.
