DNC types get super cagey when you admit that Bill Clinton is a serial adulterer who was in an extreme power imbalance relationship with a woman in her 20's.

People have sex. It's a thing we do. If everyone involved is a consenting adult than you don't get a say in it.
Consent in an imbalanced power dynamic is not always recognized as consent.
Sure, the girls that Louis CK jerked off in front of didn't scream and run out of the room, but they WERE placed in an inappropriate situation with someone who held the keys to their career. And what did we as a society do? We lambasted him for being weird and not understanding that dynamic, and his career has yet to really recover. The women with Louis CK said it was not consensual. Monica said she didn't understand how inappropriate it was, but it was consensual. That is the difference here.

Consensual means we have no basis for demanding he stand trial for rape. Squeaking past that bar doesn't say anything good about his moral character. He should not have been impeached, but he should have been run out of the Democratic party on a rail.
It's suspicious when someone has strong opinions about consent laws. But not as suspicious as someone who'd white-knight fucking Bill Clinton because, wait for it, their concern for young adults being treated with respect.
