Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

Personally I think of it as similar to makeup, as in "you do you, why should I judge you?" But also not ignoring that it can get out of hand and cause body image issues, and can be feed by societal pressures. You shouldn't do it for the wrong reasons, but I cant be the one to say if your reasons are wrong. But unlike makeup, because it is more permanent it should only be done when in a healthy state of mind.
Also I think it is critical to acknowledge that it can play a major role in quality of life for disfigured individuals and people with body dysphoria and possibly others
