Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

The week is completed and so is August! Today we're gonna play two truths and a lie. Below poster 1 says 2 things that are true and 1 that is a lie, they can be on any topic within our community rules. Other posters then guess which are true. Have fun!

  1. I have jumped out of an airplane skydiving.
  2. I have been trapped in a tight squeeze while caving.

haha, no - I really have only been hit by cars four times: once when I was in a school bus and a car lost control on a curve due to wet conditions, once when I was cycling on a sidewalk and a car accelerated into me, once when a car was taking a left and drove into me when I was on the bicycle lane, and once when I was in a car taking a left through a yellow light and got t-boned in the intersection.

Incidentally I have had several brain injuries, some of those causes by these accidents.

nope, I really did get stuck - I panicked and it took a while to find a way to get out, I ended up badly bruising my hip bones in the end. The part I got stuck on was named "the birth canal" which seems appropriate, lol

Needless to say, caving was never my idea of fun and I was just going along, and I'm very unlikely to go caving again 😅
