Is it possible to block bots? I see a ton of archival bots that repost content from reddit. No one interacts with these posts and I don't care to see them. I have tried using the block user function, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not sure if this is a lemmy issue or a Connect issue. When I go to the bot profile page, it always times out. I'm assuming that is because there are so many posts from the bots. Anyone else have any experience with this?

If you don't want to see any bots, turn off "show bots" in Lemmy settings? There are also ways to block users, if it's just certain bots. Or also you can block specific communities. Right?

I just blocked the TIL bot in Lemmy Connect, and it has stayed gone, along with everything else I've blocked. If neither way is working for you, I have no other advice. Sorry.
