Teen comes up behind me in gym. I turn around. He says nothing, just gestures with his hands. I knew what he was asking but I said “sorry, are there any words?”. I’m not hurrying up if you can’t be bothered to ask nicely how long I have left on a machine.

Being in this place gives me an interesting insight into Gen Z manners. They said millennials were entitled….

This is where I usually rip out the old “the fuck do you want?”

Those kids were raised with instant gratification and devices from the moment they were born.
