I played the Extreme difficulty for the first time today and oh boy was I not ready for it.

The jump in difficulty was rather extreme and I’m mostly wondering how I deal with the bugs coming up from under the ground?

Also, the red bugs are hard to kill, because my bullets are not strong enough. Which weapon do you recommend?

The Gas-Harpoon also gets them up if shot at the ground. AND continues to do it's thing for a bit when they come up.

But yeah, you want some medium AP on your primary. It'll make you life a lot easier against bugs.
