I'll save this meme as a jiff.
I laughed at the meme..my wife is like "what?"
I sighed and said are you sure you want me to explain it?
She was like, do you want to?
I'm like this has many layers. None of which are in a direction you care about.
"It's a comic where JRR Tolkien says "Gandalf" is actually pronounced "Jandalf", a reference to the dumb side of the gif/jif debate. Also someone in the comments posted a denim-clad Gandalf since denim versions of things are often called that thing but with a "J" at the start of the name."
You see though, I would have to explain the gif / jif debate. Then I would have to explain what a gif is
Then I would have to explain what a Gandalf is.
And the way I would have to explain what a Gandalf is, is to remind her of the character with a stick from the lego game where you had to get up to swap characters... But he is also from lord of the rings.
Then I have to explain what lotr is. And how it's different from Harry Potter.
And in the end she would say. "That's stupid"
