Do they call delivery people in other places “rider” or is the delivery person named Rider? “Rider chat” seems so odd

Deliveroo in the UK does this, although I don't think anyone actually calls them 'riders' except for the company themselves. It is a weird term to use.

They’re probably using bikes, which makes the delivery people riders. That’s how it was with Foodora here in Norway. They’ve since started allowing cars, though…
