Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Have you guys still not understood that americans (not all, duh) are completely caught up in performative gestures? Their prosperity gospel so many believe in basically commands them to donate in order to show their affiliation and piety.

I'm curious if it's as common in the younger generations as it appears in the old. Are young people attending church in the same numbers in the US? Perhaps there was less lead in the gasoline for them.

Are young people attending church in the same numbers in the US?

Religion has been on a steady decline by percentage of population in the US since the 70s. Christians declined from 91% in 1970 to 82% in 2000 to 74% in 2020, but the actual number of Christians overall increased from roughly 187 mil to 246 mil. However, non-religious rose from 5 to 20% in that same time frame (from 10.5 mil to 65 mil).

It is.

People want to belong. If you can pay money to belong.... that's an easy way to belong.

🎵 bow down before the one you serve, You're going to get what you deserve 🎵

Does anyone not realize that Trent was taking about money in that song?

yeah, first verse :)

God money, I'll do anything for you

God money, just tell me what you want me to

God money, nail me up against the wall

God money, don't want everything, he wants it all
