I think the angle they are going to take is "Misinformation about the shooters political leaning."

Right now the admin is pushing hard on the narrative that the shooter was a "leftist". This narrative serves as a great distraction for their cult and justification for any future violence they plan to enact on left leaning groups (Antifa).
