Question for y'all: Nketiah or Jesus to start after the break?
@Astrealix @GunnersBot
Eddie for me for 60 mins, then Jesus to run them ragged for 30.
Nketiah, he has shown no reason to be benched and Jesus will need the extra time to get up to speed
@coygsu @Astrealix did a rewatch of the last 20 mins of the arsenal Man U game; crazy how Declan went from absolute scapegoat (gave the ball away for garnacho dissallowed goal) to total hero (game winner). If that garnacho goal stood I’d be curious to see how rices performance was viewed. Anywho - doesn’t matter because we WON!
Nketiah till 60. Then let Jesus bring the chaos when the other team are tired.
Wonder if we will see Raya before the first Carabo match? Maybe Raya at Everton and give Ramsdale our first Champions League match back.
Well, Everton is an away game, so I'd rather have Ramsdale XD Plus the PSV game is home as well. I know it's been beaten to death but Ramsdale is something else away.
@Astrealix @ironeaglebird agreed. I almost wonder if they could split home and away games (Raya home and rams away)
That I still think is an eh idea, but idk if it's just cuz it's such a unique idea lol. I worry about the chemistry between the keepers and the backline if we do that.
@Astrealix yeah there’s a reason why no one does it but I don’t think it’s makes any more or less sense in playing PL vs cup competitions. Both seem a bit arbitrary.
The difference is though, in a cup you'd not play your first choice back-line. So unless we plan on playing like Gabriel away and Kiwior home, I feel like that chemistry is the problem XD
I did like the Raya was in the team huddle after we scored goals against United. Looks like he's feeling more at home.
Yeah he definitely seems like he's blending well with the squad. I mean more on the pitch though — like, so as to not have Saliba own goal type situations lol
Jesus.
