Do you know if there are any other Star Trek novels I should read first to get the best experience?
The narrative only revolves around the events of Deep Space Nine so you shouldn't have to read anything else. It also involves a lot of flashbacks filling in gaps in Garak's story. Odo wishes he could read this novel.
