6. All posts must be news articles.


No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.


7. No duplicate posts.


If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.


8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body


For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

It really does, growing up in the 80s/90s I couldn't even imagine someone as terrible as him in political office in a functioning democracy. Of course it's evident that the US is no longer a functioning democracy, hopefully they will be again sooner than later

Yes I also realize they (the US) always had their faults but it wasn't going full Nazi at least. Think how much Superman would be shamed by knowing he's from that country. I know it's fictional but as a character he always does the best he can to help everyone. Today's US is not where he crash landed, which is a shame because it seemed like the people (if not the government) had better ideals.

Guess it's full masks off now.

Heck, even "Captain America" Steve Rogers. That symbolism meant something. Characters like Superman and Cap used to be icons for America to strive towards and never give up hope and altruism.

But now the highest positions of power under the stars and stripes have fallen to villains more ridiculously maniacal than Hydra or Lex Luthor.

We've gotta aspire to be like those heroes once again. Outnumbered, bloodied, weary, but we hold the line and say defiantly "I can do this all day!"
