Why the fuck are you defaming New Jersey by comparing it to Israel?
Apologies, I promise it wasn't intended as a slight against the state but as a method I use to dodge censors about the cult. I dug a bit deeper to make sure I wasn't talking out of my ass (as I couldn't recall exactly where the size correlation in my brain came from) and it does turn out it comes from a Netanyahu quote not a talking head as I'd initially thought.
On June 13, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel would be like "10,000 tons of TNT falling on a country the size of New Jersey."
Since October 2023, Israel has dropped an estimated 70,000 tonnes of explosives on Gaza – an area about 1.6% the size of New Jersey.
