It should definitely be illegal for wet wipes to be advertised as flushable. Maybe it already is in the UK, but in the US it still is not.

EDIT: Maybe there should even be a legally mandated warning label about not flushing them.

  • Do not throw this in the toilet.
  • Please throw it directly into the sea.
  • This product can be used to attack Koopa Troopers.

I would argue that for something to be "flushable" it has to be something the sewer system can actually handle.
