Oh yes very lucky!! I had some really amazing teachers. they really made me enjoy maths and science and all that hard shit, and rewarded that kinda thinking. Cause what you just mentioned is so demoralizing
Even had a maths teacher who was kinda a prick (for other reasons) but he was the one that encouraged that kinda thinking the most
