[Feedback] I don't mind ads, but do they need to be so suggestive and NSFW? (lemmy.world)

Pretty much every time I see banner ads at the bottom of boost it's sexually suggestive and implied ads from Temu meant to grab your attention.

These are often borderline or actually NSFW. Which is becoming a problem.

My facebook feed is the same way. Its based on browsing history and whatnot. Personally, I've leaned into it for the twin reasons of its stuff I'll never buy and I prefer being reminded that its shameful that I'm still using facebook at all. Apparently I'm addicted to daily blocking a new dozen or so people, pages, groups that I've never friended, followed or joined. That said:

$4 is plenty fair in my world.

Yes. I'm sure damn near every user of this app spends at least that much on something like: coffee, snack, etc...
