Ohh, so you were talking about finding communities in the literal sense. Most clients these days hook into the https://search.jabber.network/ API, so you can just go to the "discover channels" section of your client and type "selfhost" and find xmpp:selfhost@chat.disroot.org?join and xmpp:selfhost@chat.moparisthe.best?join
