I was very surprised after waiting all year to see them drastically cut the price a day after our summer tourist season ended. From $69 to $39 for a 2019, 2020, and 2021 cask strength releases 375ml. It has had the asterisk on the full price tag for awhile now and I was hoping this day would come. About a full pallet left when I got mine.
I was never certain, but if the items price tag has an asterisk in the upper right corner it means they are not bringing that product back. Pair the asterisk with a very large amount of product that wasn't getting much interest, and I figured one day it would happen. I also saw other costco member's posting the same product and the price slowly was reduced around the country.
