design minimalism finally hit webcomics as well, huh
I don't know, that's a pretty fine gradient symbolizing both the foreground and background.
There's a bunch of "same picture with text box" comics that have been out for a while.
Dinosaur Comics as an early internet example.
Many daily newspaper strips even earlier.
We all know creativity only happens because of capitalism so this clearly made in the non capitalism world
