if you're thinking about the senate I have some bad news for you, it has never worked for the people by design.
Pretty sure they’re taking about the presidency. The three branches are president, congress, and Supreme Court.
Correct terms in the same order: executive, legislative, and judicial.
The president is not the entirety of the executive branch, likewise for the Supreme Court and the judicial branch.
