Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Spam accounts all abound recently. Applying for accounts on lemmy.nz, as well as dozens from other instances spamming the same stuff. I guess Lemmy is being noticed.

I also added another alternate frontend, Tesseract.

It's a fork of Photon but it says there's a lot changed now. You can access it at https://t.lemmy.nz

That means we now have:

None of these actually store any data, they are just alternate front ends that you can use to interact with lemmy if you don't like the default one. They are all set up to automatically update themselves with new versions, but if you find one stops working or isn't updating then please let me know.

Thanks, might try it out for a while. Voyager is great on mobile (and there's now an app on FDroid), but don't really like it on desktop. The official Lemmy web interface is a bit.... limited.

What do you find limiting about the official one? I have yet to find another that lets you show a feed of comments rather than posts.

By "limited" I just meant the UX is not the greatest. It has all the functions though.
