Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

Fuck the IDF. How anyone can suggest that they are "morally right" to do what they are doing is just as monstrous and cold-hearted.
1,400 people died in the Hamas attack. Over 10,000 people have died SO FAR in the Israeli attacks - almost half of which are children. Israel has one of the most technologically advanced militaries in the world thanks to the U.S. Let that sink in for a moment....they have one of THE. MOST. ADVANCED. MILITARIES. On the entire fucking planet. If they wanted to, they could avoid these casualties....but they don't. This is purposeful.

Or if that interview the IDF guy gave about bombing the refugee camp is their model it will go more like:
"IDF: Hey we think there are tunnels and a base under there. No we didnt confirm, and no we wont field any follow up questions about whether its okay to bomb children on just the vague suspicion of terrorist infrastructure"
The 10000 number is almost certainly an undercount. THere is no way to know how many people are buried under the rubble of entire communities that have been flattened when the means to move that rubble is non-existent in Gaza. And if you did get some heavy equipment out there how long do you think it would be before the IOF saw Hamas hiding under the excavator and dropped a bomb on it?

I saw someone argue this is them reducing civilian casualties. They use roof knocking and delayed explosives and shit. Just sounds like they want to show off how much better their military equipment is, tbh.
