The irony is that we left Reddit for how they killed quality apps, and on Lemmy we're no way close a single properly functioning one still, despite some incredibly great efforts by devs.
I think that's a bit harsh. I have Jerboa liftoff and connect installed and they are all good. Are they as good as apps that had a decade to polish up? No, but they're pretty damn good for some new apps and they're certainly nowhere near broken.

Give it some time, the network is still young and so are the apps.
