Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards
Rules
Keep it ergo
Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)
i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²
¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

What in the world are you on about?
See the past.
Looks to me like OP came in asking for a type of keyboard that isn't out there currently and was grating to the responses when different on-the-market solutions were presented, stating that they're too different from a standard keyboard.
I wasn't apart of it but I'm not surprised he got downvoted. They went onto an ergo keyboard community and then skoffed at any keyboard that had ergonomic design in mind.
No. Not at all. I asked if a style of split keyboard exists. Some people were being dicks. It's just a Three Stooges kind of comedy making fun of the absurdity.
I asked for help. Man. People just want to judge sometimes.
You asked for help, than when presented with help got snarky. People got snarky back, now here we are.
The best example to explain it would be like, asking a doctor for help with pain and they tell you stop stabbing yourself with a fork, but you argue that you like stabbing yourself with a fork, why can’t you help me with stabbing myself with a fork?
Going to the wrong doctor, see an acupuncturist and upgrade that fork game.
I asked why? It was working for me. It doesn't mean I'm "right".
Just questioning why is not snarky. I wanted to understand the big deal. People made a big deal about that .
Just enjoy the comedy of this absolute mess of junk that happened because of a question to the community :)
Bad habits lead to larger issues over time. You also didn’t just ask why, you argued back with fallacious arguments. I was keeping it simple for brevity.
This was explained multiple times to you, and yet here we still are…
What fallacious points? I don't even get it.
We know.
I read through the thread.
People were being reasonable. At the worst, they were confused by you wanting the mouse between the keyboard sides.
You were being overreactive.
Ok, at this point, I don't get it.
Show me so I can see it?
