Funnily enough, doing a color scheme of something lighter (like white or red or blue) with black wheels does a better job or making the car look sporty than most "ground effects" packages. Looks super nice!
And I'll die on this hill, but you can have as much fun in a small FWD econo-box as you can with a high-powered RWD sport coupe - take a cruise on a few of the less-used interstates where you can find some windy roads and have some fun!
Slow car fast is just as good as fast car fast. :D
I agree honestly, the rims absolutely transformed it compared to the stock steelies with fugly hubcaps, just look at this shit:
I haven't driven a high-powered RWD car, but I'm having a blast with the Yaris. It has enough power to be fun when driven spiritedly while also not trying to kill you.
Hell, in high school I loved driving my mom's 2001 Punto. 60 drunk donkeys under the hood, rotted out muffler and busted suspension. It had a 0-60 of eventually and was great fun going flatout down some twisty roads. Granted, flatout in that car meant like 30 mph but highschool me still loved it.
Edit: This one is also a non-hybrid with a manual transmission. That adds to the fun factor quite a bit imo.
