Border guards prevented two men from crossing the border with Romania by the Tisza River. One of them turned out to be a resident of Transcarpathia and accompanied the other. The ring is hilarious, but the water wings are even more bizarre. They're both lucky they didn't drown if they are that lacking in water confidence. As an Aussie I tend to forget there are grown adults who can't swim out there, but this is bizarre even so!
If my options were nothing or the water wings/ring they used, I'm going to take my chances without those things. The wetsuit is useful (both for warmth and buoyancy), but I would expect the toys to do more harm than good.
