I have an ErsatzTV instance fed by a Plex library that is creating live “TV” channels that are viewed through Plex. My goal is to make a bunch of different types of channels, but I’m lacking the space for storing all of this. My thought was that I could stream much of this from YouTube or the Internet Archive, and while I understand that simply creating YouTube playlists is entirely possible, I like the idea of having a guide and schedules, like how PlutoTV and the Live TV channels in Plex work (minus the crappy buffer rolls and repeated ads).

Ideally, if I could load these streams into ErsatzTV that would be ideal, but haven’t found a way to do this. I’m also aware of the excessive resources used to basically “stream a stream”, so I’m also open to any other less resourceful ideas.

I stumbled across http://my80stv.com/ made by joeycato which is nearly identical to what I’m after of this helps explain what I’m looking for.

That’s the same as Plex’s Live TV integration - basically I’m looking for a software to create the channels I can stream TO Plex/Jellyfin
