Tailscale - completely noob question (alien.top)

Hello, everyone. Sorry for being such a noob here but I am switching over to 4g broadband again next week and I have been told that I will not longer be able to remotely access my DVR or mini home server since the provider does not give a public ip address like a traditional broadband provider. Am I correct in saying Tailscale would resolve this issue somehow and allow me to view my camera system remotely?

I currently use dynamic dns, which I assume will now be redundant.

I brought a cheap 4g WIFI router from Ali Epxress foe about £20... the headset part was just getting the SIM setting, everything else was easy... but I've not tied the 4G directly into my network, rather it's just acting like a wireless hotspot..

Being off the main network is what makes it so useful from a backup perspective.
