MODERATORS
Most people I know who claim they were raised by a village - it was just their grandparents. Those who went on to have kids realized the reason was because their parents didn't want to be parents back then, and they don't want to be grand parents now.
Their grandparents generation, their children's great grandpa - the ones before the boomers were the only ones interested in being a village.
The boomers were called the Me Generation in their time.
Still are but they used to be too.
