I just get called annoying or told to repeat myself 10 times because I'm apparently talking too fast.

At this point I just avoid people who aren't coworkers

I used to watch people's eyes glaze over when explaining what I do for a living. Now I just say "website shit" and they go "ahh, so cool!" and we move on with our lives.
