Had to call in sick today for the first time - had a sore throat on and off, and definitely sinusey. RAT says negative at least.
Since I work around the elderly and frail, coming in sick is a no-no. But I nearly blubbered down the phone when I called in.
You did the right thing. We have sick leave for exactly such reasons. Take care of yourself :)
