Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

IMO it became very evident very quickly after Trump became president, that Pelosi was extremely bad for the Democrats. Pelosi actively prevented Democrats from acting on issues that had a clear majority and great significance.
It's absolutely a plus for Democrats that Pelosi is finally out.
Her insider trading was also drawing a lot of heat. Now we've all forgotten about it!
Not with you reminding us of it! Goddammit.
Alright, everybody gather around and look steadily at this little flash light.
Neoliberals do neoliberal things
We must also not forget that there's a bunch of Republicans that made even more profit than her doing the same thing but they never get talked about! Politicians should only be allowed to invest in total market ETFs!
I would go back further to the Dubya days and say it's been clear since that era that Pelosi was not great and new leadership was necessary.
I remember that too and it was obviously a bunch of nonsense back then. It's just people playing politics and trying to frame the discourse in ways that favor their side. The quotes there are pretty funny, Alter doing some warmongering and Klein calling the kettle black.
Remember when she promised to defund the Iraq War so we all voted for them and then they did nothing?
