MODERATORS
"2023 Japanese Switch Game" is a lot of qualifiers. Sounds like a slow news day
It's probably an infinitesimally small number compared to how many have pirated the game worldwide.
TOTK is probably the biggest PC game in Brazil for 2023.
Reading the article, it seems like Nintendo is trying to pull an Apple and not label their axes. The article is talking about "We think these numbers are only about downloads in Japan because Overcooked 2 and Minecraft are on it."
Otherwise yeah it's "long anticipated game in extremely popular franchise sells well."
