It's even better once you know that, because sugar gliders are marsupials, they don't have a rodent scent and so very rarely trigger a predation response in cats or dogs. We have one (his bff passed from old age, but this one's tenacious [both rescues; please don't buy them]) who all but rules the entirety of our pet population (dogs & cats, plural). I swear, it's gonna come down to either AI overlords, or this undying Slappy-as-a-glider. ๐Ÿ˜ถ
