What style of blouse would you recommend for a recent widow? Nothing too bright in colour and preferably high neck. Looking for some everyday tops and sweaters recommendations.

edit: it's not me but a relative that lost their spouse but thank you for the nice messages

Very sorry to hear that your spouse died. My advice is to not worry about it. My guess is that you're not going to feel like cheery colors for a while, but if and when your do, you should wear them. You aren't obligated to dress according to anyone else's expectations. If there's anything that helps you heal or cope, you should wear that. Focus on being comfortable.
