So they’re going to spend countless millions developing one that’s better? How exactly are they going to solve the problems they suggested? Are they going to invent a better USB cable? Reinvent Bluetooth?
They're going to develop a system that they have control over rather than Apple or Google so they have access to the user data and usage metrics.
If they actually cared about the safety impact of these types of systems they'd be putting physical buttons back into their cars, not bigger touch screens.
Agreed entirely. I just find their excuses thin
